A Night at the Triad 10

  • The Triad Theater 158 West 72nd Street New York, New York, 10023 United States (map)

Three years ago, this started as conversations on a sidewalk outside a coffee shop. On Friday, September 18th, we take the Triad stage for the tenth time.

Ten sold-out nights. Sixty-five artists performed and fairly paid. A thousand neighbors in the seats. One neighborhood that decided to show up for the musicians in its midst — and kept showing up.

This one is a celebration of the community that built all of it. Expect the world-class music and serendipitous magic that define a Night at the Triad, plus reprised moments from across the run, returning faces, and a room full of the people who made these ten nights possible.

A note, with gratitude: word is traveling faster than usual this year. After a recent feature in the West Side Rag, seats for the tenth night are going more quickly than any show we've done. If you're hoping to be in the room, we'd gently suggest not waiting.

Directed, as always, by jazz pianists Antongiulio Foti and Matt Baker. Doors 6:15pm; the show runs 7–10pm, with an open hang and pizza with the artists after. Main floor is reserved cabaret seating; balcony is general admission. A two-drink minimum supports the venue and its staff.

100% of ticket revenue goes to paying the artists and the basic costs of production. The Four Hands Collective is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Your ticket is a gift to the musicians on that stage.

Art is a gift, not a product.
