7th Night at the Triad

November 3rd, 2025.

The 7th Night at the Triad was the kind of evening that reminds you why live music exists.

Ten hands on one piano — a raucous, joyful Satin Doll. Lacy Rose premiering a brand new original composition, backed by Marina Alba, Sam Chung, and Griffin Fink, in a world debut that felt like witnessing something rare. Antongiulio Foti unveiling Verdi Square, a new piece written in honor of the two friends who helped start this whole thing, performed with quiet beauty. Jillian Grace offering a soulful tribute to D'Angelo that stopped the room. Adrian Galante, Benny Benack III, and Bryce Edwards bringing New Orleans fire to the Triad stage. And Danno Petersen delivering what the room agreed was the greatest drum solo in the history of this theater.

Every Night at the Triad has its moments. The seventh had more than most.
