Every Sunday, Plowshares Coffee in West Harlem hosts a live jazz session that has become one of the neighborhood's most beloved weekly rituals — world-class musicians, a historic Kurtzman piano, an intimate café atmosphere, and an open invitation for local musicians to sit in after the first set.
This Sunday, the rotating trio is led by Four Hands Collective community member Angie Pastor — a vocalist and songwriter whose acoustic warmth and intimate storytelling have made her one of the most quietly remarkable performers in the New York scene.
Coffee, beer, wine, cider, food, and music that makes the afternoon worth staying for.
