Award-winning vocalist, arranger, and educator June Cavlan — whose debut album A Portrait of June she arranged herself — brings her trio to Mezzrow: June Cavlan (vocals), Tyler Henderson (piano), and Joseph Ranieri (bass). Inspired by Ella Fitzgerald and Shirley Horn, June doesn't just interpret the Songbook, she breathes new life into it. She's a familiar voice on our Night at the Triad stage.
Mezzrow is a hushed, intimate basement listening room in Greenwich Village, built for exactly this kind of close-up vocal set.

The Four Hands Collective works to build a room where community gathers around the artists who bring it alive. The best way to help build that room is to go see a show — and say hi to the artists.
