Australian jazz pianist Matt Baker studied with Oscar Peterson, won the Montreux Jazz Festival competition, and has released six albums, including Live at Birdland. His playing is warm, swinging, and full of joy. He's also a co-founder and co-music director of the Four Hands Collective: the pianist who sat down with a stranger at our very first show and improvised the moment that gave us our name.
The Wallace Lounge sits in the center of our neighborhood. On a Friday night it's world-class jazz a few blocks from home.

The Four Hands Collective works to build a room where community gathers around the artists who bring it alive. The best way to help build that room is to go see a show — and say hi to the artists.
