Trio Fadolín — Sabina Torosjan (violin), Valeriya Sholokhova (cello), and Ljova on the fadolín, a new instrument spanning violin, viola, and most of the cello — makes its Joe's Pub debut with material from their upcoming first album, Where We Are, and special appearances by composer and clarinettist Kinan Azmeh and vocalist Inna Barmash. Ljova is a close collaborator of the Silkroad Ensemble, Brooklyn Rider, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Trio Fadolín has performed a Night at the Triad, and the trio is co-founded by cellist Valeriya Sholokhova, who performs often with the Four Hands Collective and whose solo cello stilled the room at our 6th Night at the Triad. The Four Hands Collective is a nonprofit supporting artists — the best way to support one is to get out and see live music, listen deeply, and bring friends.
