10th Night at the Triad
September 18th, 2026.
Night 10 celebrated our history, those who’ve built this room, and those just coming in.
Our tenth Night at the Triad sold out, as all ten have, three years to the season since this started on a sidewalk outside a coffee shop. Marina Alba sang the first French song in our history for the twenty-five French neighbors who filled the front section. Isaac Knox freestyled on words the audience threw at him, mitochondria included. Lacy Rose premiered "Hope," written in the space between losing people she loved and the birth of her daughter. The room wept. Joie Bianco surprised Adam and Ajda LaPrad with "Stand by Me" on their tenth wedding anniversary, their first dance as a married couple. Matt Baker and Antongiulio Foti returned to the tune they improvised as strangers at our very first show, the one that gave us our name. The next morning at Black Press, one of our French guests told us this has shown him what the word community actually means.

THE NIGHT
Directed by Antongiulio Foti and Matt Baker, the evening brought together ten extraordinary musicians across jazz, classical, and original music. Some had been part of this community since the beginning. Some were stepping onto the Triad stage for the first time. All of them gave everything.
